Reviewing most of Cairns suburbs with poor comments doesn't increase the appeal of Kewarra Beach. I would encourage anyone reading your comments to look at your profile and make judgement on the suburb based on 'actual' reviews not this slander.

  • Beach infested with mozzies
  • Little trees, foliage or shade
  • Sterile and boring
  • Mosquitoes in parks

Portsea Crescent

"The best Street in Kewarra Brach"

Backing onto a reserve, Portsea Crescent is not only tranquil it is also just around the corner from shops including a grocer, butcher, chemist, GP, bottle shop, pool shop and more! Some beautiful gardens at number 22 and 24. Love walking past these houses.
The reserve behind also provides a shortcut to the beach as well as Trinity Beach.
Very wide Street too, old school that could fit 4 cars across easily. Big blocks too. A fantastic Street in high demand.
Also be weary of flood prone streets closer to the beach. Portsea is fine but other streets especially ones on the beaches are prone to bad flooding with cyclones.

Great for

  • Friendly locals
  • Close to shops
  • Tranquil
