Nice and quiet neighbourhood with tidy houses

I've been living in Hastings for two years and love it. It's growing quickly and the property market is booming. The shopping area has most things you need for day to day and anything else is only a 10-15 minute drive. There is a fantastic area down at the waterfront to walk dogs off lead. Pelican park is a great gym and pool facility with the amazing Pelican Societe cafe overlooking the water. We also have beautiful beaches within a 10 minute drive. There are some really nice areas to live in and we feel very safe. It's so nice to escape to peaceful Hastings in summer after being in grid lock on the other side of the peninsula. I think a lot of the reviews on here are old and don't reflect Hastings as it is now that it has developed. There are 3 big medical centres here aswell so lack of doctors that has been mentioned is definitely not the case now.
