"Plane noise"
Do not come if you have bad sleep. The noise from international airlines is just overwhelming. Other than that, it is a rather great suburb.

The local noise action group, led by Dr Johan Rosman, has been very succesful and by mid 2015 the noise will be reduced to a level that is not different from other Shelley suburb.
Living in the hidden gem Shelley myself, I notice now alreadyn(March2015) an enormous improvement that gave me my sleep back.
