"Fawnker Street, So far very impressed"
Ok so I live on Fawkner st, and im going to list the positives and negatives from what I have experienced so far:
Positives
Very quite at night (including weekends) which we were most impressed.
Friendly people, the street is majority of families which is great.
Close to M1 and Kingston Rd, and Logan Central shops.
Very neat and tidy street.
The little church has the nicest kiwis they offered a free car wash just the other day, nicest people :)
Negatives
You hear the odd hoon going up Kingston Rd really late at night, but its not loud enough to be disturbing.

"A great place to raise a family"
I lived at Glass house mountains for 2 years when I was a kid, and I must admit the best time of my life. Living in a house where you can see the mountains from your back yard is so peacefull not mention the wild life on your front door step.
Everyone knows one and over and the people are just so nice. Great place to raise a family away from the citch and crime.

"Very Trendy"
I think Broadbeach has expanded so much in recent years and is very classy with easy access to the Casino. The only down point I can think of would be the drunked itiods that roam the streets at night and tourists causing havic on their mopeds.
Great life style if you love the beach.
"Great Stree"
I lived on Bay Trc for about 3 years a very nice place to live apart from the night life, you can find some pretty dodgy people hanging around the esplanade. However a great place to have a family lots to do on the esplanade during the day and lots of fish and chip shops.
"Slacks Creek set for growth & close to everything!"
We have been living in Slacks Creek for a while now and have found it is a very civilized neighbourhood, close to the new IKEA which is the largest IKEA in the southern hemisphere and close to the M1 which takes you 30-40 mintues to get to the Gold Coast and 15-20 minutes to Brisbane City. It seems like more families coming to the suburb which gives a good feeling when out and about. I can see Slacks Creek as having considerable growth over the next 10-20 years, as population growes logan areas are going to be considered very close to Brisbane City with easy access to the M1 you can't go wrong with those capital gains.
Great for
- Close to the M1
- Close to ikea cheap hotdogs!
