Seaford Meadows

"Sprawling mess"

Awful suburb, mass of houses on small blocks. Traffic is very busy especially on Atlantis Avenue an Commercial Road. Not safe for my young children to play on the roads. Where's the green? just beige, beige and beige. Wrong side of the road for the beach. I used to live here but moved. Beware of reviews by Real Estate Agents or people who want to sell their houses(there are lots) who just Spruik

  • Overpriced

I dont know when you last visited or what you are comparing the suburb to? but it is a great place with lots of greenery and a great place to bring up a family.

Thanks for the comment Roxy. I moved out two months ago and I am not comparing the suburb to anywhere else. My opiinion is that the Estate has alot of Courtyard homes on small blocks, with neighbours either side of you and two to three behind you. The estate is not very child friendly and yes there are a couple of parks but they have no amenities (no toilets or BBQs). Yes I understand people are very defensive about where they leave but I am giving a honest opinion. The beach is certainly not suitable for children, go to Moana or Port Noarlunga as there is a dangerous rip. Estae is busy for traffic except for some of the side roads where people double park. I found property expensive and alot of them were investments who regualrly change their clientelle.

I agree Ping Pong Pom. I think the positive comments are from people wanting to sell their properties

PingPingPom, if you really think Seaford Medows has all what you "mentioned", try going to Davoren Park, Elizabeth, Elizabeth Park, Elizabeth East, Blakeview, Smithfield, Smithfield Plains, Munno Para, Munno Para West, Craigmore, Salisbury East, Salisbury, Salisbury North, Brahma Lodge, Paralowie, Para Hills, Parafield Gardens and many more which are in the Northern suburbs, I suggest you check ALL THESE suburbs out and see if they are better than Seaford Medows. Because I'm telling you right now, they're NOT. And let's compare the Northern suburbs to Southern suburbs and see which neighbourhoods of the North are in the top 20 best suburbs in Adelaide? None in the north, most are either south or east. Next time before you open that mouth of yours which says nothing but no help, go to areas where they are ranked and are MUCH WORSE than Seaford Meadows. Shame on you

Beautiful suburb with excellent beaches. Clean, quiet and excellent potential. Affordable standard of living with all amenties on your doorstep. 10 mins from Countryside and fine wines of Mclaren vale yet on the beach, what more could you ask for? Yes! I am a local and not into spruiking like various Real Estate Agents on this site.
