"Hot, expensive, isolated and lots of flies and mosquitoes"
I live in Boort for 3 years because of husband's work, had to go to Bendigo to have my baby as hospital catering more for aged care. Very friendly people. 1 and a half hours drive from Bendigo. If you aren't into sport there is not much else to do. Kerang is half an hour drive with better shopping and facilities.
Great for
- Lake if it has water
- Little crime/safe
- Good aged care
Not great for
- Businesses selling up...
- Plenty of flies, mosquitoes & snakes
