Bellmere

"Glad I didnt buy"

I was going to buy a house in 1 of the nicer parts of Bellmere. Driving though the area the other day at the back where they are building the new Woolworths, all the newer houses are crammed together and a friend of mine has had numerous break ins.

Live round the corner, no problems. Walk down those streets regularly-nice and quiet in the evenings.

Bribie Island

"Dont do it (Paradise spoilt)"

Went for a drive over to the island today and compared to 4 years ago the traffic is a nightmare. This is a weekday outside school hours. More houses have being built but the roads and shops havnt keep up . Both are the same as it was 5 years ago, plus it can flood in parts of Ningi which cuts the whole island off

In the 8 years i have lived on bribie I havent experienced Bribie island road cut off due to flooding.
Even whilst it was flooding loads of other places last year,Bribie island still wasnt closed

well said. also camp areas are way over grazed due to incompetent management! no grass areas left for wildlife to eat and to set up tents! I call for management to be fired

Caboolture

"Updated 9.10.2022 I have being living there since 2003"

I love the area, the people, the wide open spaces and its just so handy. Its a 45 min train trip into Brisbane thanks to the new timetables introduced. A great library. Some of the nicest thai, pizza and seafood places I have eaten in for a while. I wouldnt live anywhere else. Best of all my area dosnt flood. Have being through 2011 and 2022 floods. Still a quite place after all these years too

Yes it does get hot but the prices have gone up a lot in the last 6 months. Depends on where you live. My recommendation buy in the Caboolture West or near the lake
