"North Melbourne is great -- but the station? Definitely not."
Close to city and great for newcomers -- but North Melbourne station? What a sick joke it is. Definitely not safe at night.

"It's good but..."
Rising suburb and good for families, but it's just too far. The lack of public transport doesn't do it any good.

When majority of the suburb is just a garbage dump, you're a bound to have questionable odours rise up into your nose.
