Queenstown
"Overall a good town"
An interesting place with a great mix of people. Many moving from the Mainland who are renovating and are adventurous. A lot of artists here too and people seeking a calmer life. Some wonderful old homes and great renovators if your a tradie or handy.
Only negative is the way many dogs are treated, chained and left out in the cold by some unthinking people. A town undergoing transformation which makes a very small minority uneasy and resentful. However it's a great town with massive potential.
Who lives here?

If you end up moving to Queenstown shop online Amazon pantry, it will save you a bundle :). There is plenty to do eg. Mens Shed, heaps of community events / local markets / volunteer work or even start a small at home business.

Hi Terry, I am thinking of moving over that way, obviously because it's a bit quieter and away from the hustle and bustle. Wanted to ask mate, do you live there? What is it like in your prospective? Would you say its easy to make friends, get to know people etc? Is the IGA there expensive as a shopping place?? Any help you could give would be great. Thanks
