On most Saturday mornings of the year, The Balmoral Cycling Club (formed in 1946)
Race A, B, C, D and Masters grades on the 1.4km closed road circuit criterium at the Murarrie Recreation Reserve, 1238 Wynnum Road, Murarrie.
The Bulimba Creek Bikeway also stretches from Murrarie to Wishart. This ride passes the Minnippi Parklands with a 1.6km circular bike route around a lagoon.
Then the Murarrie to Hamilton bike ride connects you from the Murarrie train station to the Bretts Wharf ferry terminal. Biking the off-road shared path over the Sir Leo Hielscher Bridge in Murarrie at 64.5 metres above river level gives an unparalleled vista of the CBD.

Now if you enjoy your beers cold and on tap...Murarrie boasts a Huge Brewery "Brewdog" hidden under the Sir Leo Hielscher Bridge with views over the Brisbane River. With arcade games,
