"Fantastic location on The Peninsula"
Rye is awesome if you like the beach! The front beach is an awesome place to relax especially when the weather is nice although during the summer months it can be particularly difficult to find a spot especially near the pier. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants available to you near the foreshore so there's always somewhere to eat or grab a drink.
Towards the back of Rye, the streets are super green and they always make for a pleasant morning walk. In addition, it is only about an hour or so away from Melbourne's CBD so it's an excellent place to do a day trip. It is important to remember though that, as I said before, during the summer months Rye (and the Mornington Peninsula in general) is immensely busy. If you like hustle and bustle then you mightn't mind, but if you prefer a more quiet experience at the beach it might be wise to go at a different point in the year.
Otherwise, Rye is a fantastic suburb with something for everyone!

"Amazing Golden Mile!"
Serpells Road is a well regarded street and for good reason. Most of the blocks on Serpells Road are large with some being acres in size and the homes on those blocks are lovely. Like many streets in Templestowe, Serpells Road is super green, parks and reserves are never too far away, and the street itself offers up a fantastic morning or afternoon stroll along its entire length. There is a bus that runs along the street so there is some access to public transport, but it is still lacking and to live here and conveniently get around you would need to own a car. Overall though, it's a safe and pleasant street to live on in a safe and pleasant suburb!

"Quiet, Calm, Central."
Harriett Crescent is a great street to live. Not too far from the centre of Box Hill and very close to Box Hill TAFE yet still quiet and calm. There are some lovely homes in the street and in the surrounding area. Access to public transport is a huge plus for Harriett Crescent, bus stops are not too far away and it's only just under a 10 minute walk to get to the tram stop for the 109 tram line. Overall, it's a great street to live.

"Donvale's Fantastic!"
Donvale is a great place to live. It's a calm, quiet suburb that is fantastic for people wanting to live somewhere serene without being too far from the city. There are plenty of schools around so it's a great area for younger families, and the variety of parks and greenery make for excellent places to go for a relaxing morning walk. Public transport access is quite decent too with Nunawading and Mitcham train stations not too far away. Donvale is definitely a lovely suburb!

"Mont Albert Is Great"
Only lived in Mont Albert for a brief period of time but I can say that it is a fantastic place to live.
It's very close to the bustling hub of activity that is Box Hill yet it still remains quite quiet and calm if that's what you're after.
There are some lovely parks and ovals to walk your pets or just to have a nice stroll around. It's proximity to the centre of Box Hill is a massive plus especially if you love eating at amazing restaurants and Box Hill Central is fantastic for all your shopping needs.
Another massive benefit is the access to all types of public transport. The 109 tram runs right through Mont Albert, and it's right between Union and Box Hill train stations making it convenient to get to the city if need be. There are also plenty of buses in the area.
Overall, Mont Albert is an awesome suburb to not only visit, but to live in too.

"Lovely Suburb!"
I lived in Templestowe for almost two decades and can say for sure it is an excellent suburb to live in, especially for families.
It's a suburb characterised by its balance between being decently close to the city whilst also having amazing parks like Ruffey Lake and Westerfolds which make the area feel really green and serene, along with providing some amazing walking tracks and beautiful areas to have a barbeque with family and friends.
There are no shortage of lovely restaurants serving cuisines from all over the world, and Westfield Doncaster Shoppingtown isn't too far away if you need to do shopping of any kind or want to go catch a movie at the cinemas.
Whilst this is all well and good, one downside is the lack of public transport in certain areas of the suburb and in the parts that do have public transport your only option is catching a bus, so it can be a bit difficult to get around and get to the city conveniently unless you own a car.
Overall, Templestowe is a fantastic suburb to live in with something for everybody!
