Pyrmont is honestly pretty safe overall. It’s a busy, modern inner-city spot with lots of apartments, cafes and people around at most hours, so it never really feels isolated. You’ll get the usual inner-city stuff like the odd petty theft or noisy weekend crowd near Darling Harbour, but nothing out of the ordinary. Most people who live there say they feel comfortable walking around, even at night, and it generally has a pretty relaxed, lived-in sorta vibe
