"Hover over Power - Sharing road with Trams"

Most use by human race for commuting this is a massive road with two very popular trams routes 70 and 75 flowing through it. although it has proximity to school and glenferrie road, it still lacks the charm of being lively. The Architecturally blessed super-steep right turn at riversdale road mark the beginning of power street which has been accredited with many 'cyclist and car' crashes.

Rado
Rado Burwood Rd, Hawthorn from the curve at Camberwell Rd to the Yarra is quite varied. Sadly it's becoming a major thoroughfare so traffic is getting quite bad any day of the week. Starting at Camberwell Rd end, you have a mix of shops (furniture, kitchen, Mitre 10, wedding dresses and car yard). Heading west and crossing Auburn Rd, more mixed small business' and a few restaurants that are local institutions and then you hit smaller residents on the south side that are facing multi story developments on the north. Sadly these are high density student accommodation and these buildings along with Swinburne are changing the landscape into a bit of a tunnel.
Crossing Glenferrie, it changes again to office buildings, furniture shops, Bunnings (!) and more mix of shops and apartment blocks. And finally crossing Power St, West Hawthorn shops is a nice local shopping precinct with a terrific IGA and the best wine bar for miles - Gibsons. And then small businesses and back into reasonable density housing opposite St James Park and West Hawthorn Primary.

"Urban lane where senses sang, saw around and found Morang"

Unlike most of its along side streets or groves or courts, Morang road is very appealing to general public due to its natural reserve. It open on one end at Busy Burwood road. Speedy traffice is super slow on morang road thanks to the Round about and the on street parking which at the moment seems to be over flowing.
Due to Proximity to burwood road and power street, their is sound on the road but morang road still can be rated as quiet due to the Morang reserve. Close by railway line - Hawthorn. "Good Little Exit on Burwood Road"

This street proves to be a good Entry/Exit point On/From Burwood Road. It basically connects Lynch Street and Burwood Road. Few negatives that this street has, is that it allows parking which together with its inclining structure makes it a bit unsafe for vehicles entering the street. Street is not big and its roughly 10 meters in length, has few offices and a low cost gym in its vicinity. Since it is generally used for commuting noise is indispensible.

Quite funny is the bit when people arrives at gym in Car & jog 45 mins to 1 hour in the Gym Treadmill :>

"Loses on - Transport & Cleanliness"

Mostly occupied with 2-3 storeys buildings, room within which rented out to students or young professionals/couples. Due this fact street parking is preoccupied most of the time.

Having lived here for six months, I felt missed public transport since this street is a bit far from Auburn station which apparently is the only close station to the residents in the street, further it is not a major station so not all trains were scheduled a halt. No sign of TRAM nearby

I used to find restaurants and grocery shops on the glenferrie road as the closest

Personally I found the awareness about cleanliness among residents at a low.

"Quiet, Pleasant, calm & safe - Just a bit far from basic needs"

Very quiet, calm, pleasant, clean & leafy street. It is not a street with any commercial activity and it has centre of Able services Australia. Close to Tram Number 70 which passes through the riversdale road. The nearest grocery store is far up near camberwell train station meaning healthy 30 minutes walk or 10 mintutes drive. Most houses are owned by Middle to old age groups and hence the street maintains early to bed and early to rise philosophy. It also has 3-4 antique houses which is inhabited occasionally by the owner adding to the quietness of the street.

"Welcome to Road Rage Arena"

Although a quiet and less of commercial looking street, it is actually monitored by cops due to road rage issues. Due to proximity to train tracks and some big sound making machine like stuff for trains along with two packaging business located on this street it has high noise element to it. Further, it is mostly used for parking by nearby residents or business owners. It lacks in cleanliness and considering the large number of cars parked here it has a big risk factor attached to it.
