Information please

Hi, i am 24 and hoping to immigrate with my partner and 5 year old daughter to Victoria, my partner is an electrician and i am a PA for the national health service in scotland, i have been researching and i like the look of Sunbury. I was wondering if anyone could give me information on Sunbury that i would already have found on the net e.g. schools, and commuting to melbourne for work etc.
Any information would be appreciated.

Hi Shelley,

Sunbury was previously a country town and still has a lovely feel, although it has grown a lot. There is a nice community there, and good women's choir (if you sing). Lots of tradies live there (I have a carpenter friend who lives there with his wife), and there are lots of families with school age children. The downside is the commute, depending on where you are working. The train is on the country (VLine) line, rather than part of the metropolitan system. The train commute is quite good, only about 35 minutes into the city, however it only runs every 20-25 minutes on weekdays, so you wouldn't want to miss it. As for schools, one of my cousins went to Salesian College, and found it to be good, but that was quite a while ago.
