Moving to melbourne

Hi, it depends on what you want. If you will travel into the city, then Hoppers Crossing is on the train line. You really need a car for the other suburbs, with Melton being the furtherest out. Point Cook and Truganina are newer suburbs whereas Hoppers Crossing is more established. There are schools in all these suburbs. Point Cook is very popular at the moment, especially for young families. There is also some lovely coastal parks very close by. The area was originally known for its air force base. I have heard a few people complain that at peak hour it can be a bit of a traffic jam getting in and out of the suburb. There are lots of new houses at both Point Cook and Truganina.
Hi Pointcook,
I live in Point Cook at the moment and I am so happy that I purchased here. I've met many people in the past two years and they all say that Point Cook is the best suburb. It's close to everything, the city, the beaches, the parks and shopping centres.
I would suggest you rent first but don't waste any time as house prices have really gone up here. I consider this suburb a great investment too. Good luck with your move.
