Solar Energy Installation

Solar Energy Installation
Hi,
I am thinking of installing a solar energy system to my house. My issue is we may be moving in 5-7 years so the system would be unlikely to pay for itself fully during the time we own the house. To see how the figures stack up I would be interested in knowing how much a solar system might add to the value of the property and improve the reuturn on my inestment.
To give some background. The system I have been quoted on is a 3kW system with my contribution (after solar credits) being around $13k. My house is a single storey in the outer eastern suburbs and worth in the low $500k range as it stands.
Any comments appeciated ..

Hello Hawker49...May I know the supplier of the solar panels you used for your solar energy system? Was it from
Solar Panels -Brisbane because for me the solar panels from this supplier is of great quality and of course quality matters when you are to compute and determine the value of the property.
