With all this speak of Swine flu sweeping the globe, I was wondering what is the status of suspected swine flu coming to Australia? Has there been any confirmed cases?
Also do you actually die if you catch it? Or has the media just hyped it?

I know that there have been a couple of Australian deaths attributed to swine flu, but what are the stats on deaths from regular influenza this season. Often these deaths go unreported in the media and yet can be quite high.

Swine flu seems as very mild version of the flu so the regular number of deaths is probably as many or more.
