Central Wagga and Turvey Park are the two most accessible suburbs to the medical precinct and both offer excellent schooling options. The area bordered by Docker Street, Edward Street, Dobney Avenue and Chaston Street is probably the most convenient residential pocket when it comes to proximity to the hospitals, as well as Brookong Avenue and Roma Street. Both Central and Turvey Park are highly desired areas made up of a mix of stunning federation houses, a lot of which have been renovated, 1960's and 70's homes and some unit/villa/townhouse complexes. In saying that, even the farthest outlying suburbs of Wagga are only a 10-15 minute drive from the hospitals which is a short trip by Melbourne standards, and these suburbs can offer better bang for your buck in terms of larger and more modern homes in equally as good school catchment areas.
