What feature badly influences Wagga Wagga the most (e.g. crime, healthcare, traffic)?

I was planning to move here with my family and was just wondering what the worst feature about this city was.

- Old boys club sitting on the local council and not enough female representation
- Lately, some ice usage has increased
- Trying to get cheaper flights to Sydney and Melbourne (but we now have flights to Brisbane too)
- Not having 'fresh' seafood, my wife likes her 'fresh' fish...

It really depends on what you as an individual dislike. In my opinion, the traffic and people are the worst of it. In Wagga Wagga there are generally bad drivers, disaster-incurring drivers, hoons or grandmas that know nothing about common road rules.

As for the community spirit and the good old wave to a stranger (or even friend) down the street? That is inexistent in the crow city. If a lady runs you and your friends down with her trolley in Sturt Mall don't be surprised when she ignores it and keeps walking as if nothing happened (personal experience, happened too many times to keep count).

Contrary to popular belief the foreign people of Wagga (African, Indian, European etc.) are often really friendly. Never fall victim to the foolish stereotyping that swarms Wagga.

Crime? Wagga Wagga has lots of that. No more (not really anyway) than any other major regional city though. If you live in Wagga (particularly Tolland, Ashmont or Mt Austin) I suggest a lock-up garage for your nice car. There are lots of Centrelink bludgers in the city who are jealous of others fortunes, so they smash the fortune up and steal what they can (sometimes the car itself).

Healthcare in Wagga is alright. Soon to be even better once they finish with the hospital. There are lots of great specialists.

Overall Wagga is not the worst city. Easily not the best either, though. Personally I wouldn't live there if I had children mind you.
