Is it feasible to live in Warburton and work in Melbourne?
Warburton, VIC 3799 is located within the Yarra Ranges local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.
If not, what is close enough to Melbourne but still very much like Warburton?
[UPDATE] I was thinking of travelling to Lilydale every day and then taking the Metro to the CBD. What is the average time on that?

Hi yes it is feasible and alot of locals do it but unfortunately during peak hour times it takes about 2hrs to get to st Kilda! Non-peak times it will only take 1.2 -1.5hrs. I work in the eastern suburbs (surrey hills) and takes me an hour which I find not a problem as I enjoy driving, hope that helps. I have never found another place like warburton especially Mt any closer to the city
