Are snakes a problem in Warrandyte?
Warrandyte, VIC 3113 is located within the Manningham local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.
I am thinking of moving to Warrandyte for the great blocks of land which appeal to me having kids. But, I'm also concerned it might be getting too far into the bush which might lead to snakes. Can anybody put my mind at ease? Thanks

Depends how well the garden is maintained, with no food source or grass cover which act as shelter to snakes. We live next to the Yarra, and expected to see snakes, but haven't seen a snake in 2 (quite hot) years

Relatives of mine have recently moved to Warrandyte and have sent me pics on their phone of snakes in their garden on more than one occasion.
