I can suggest Warrnambool and the surrounding area as a fantastic place to live. I have lived in the area for near 20 years and there is much to see and do. There are fantastic restaurants & cafe's, beaches, schools & a university. Community minded local businesses and trades that like to give back to support the local area. If your after a safe, easy going way of life but not miss out on things that bigger places offer then Warrnambool has to be at the top of the list. Real estate is affordable with median house price currently at $285,000. All in all I love living here and can highly recommend anybody think of moving here to do so.

I don't know when this was written but the median price for a house in Warrnambool has jumped to $325,000....and that's in the last few months!
