Hello, I am moving to Wollongong and looking to buy a small unit. I am a 31 Year old female professional. I would love to know opinions on what streets are good and what streets are not. I am looking within North Wollongong and Wollongong city centre. Safety is obviously a concern as I will be living by myself. Thank you ! I am looking forward to the move.

There are a lot of streets to choose from within the areas you're looking to live in.
There lots of single people living in both areas already. Favourite streets would include Bode Ave or Pleasant Ave in North Wollongong (close to beach, parklands and easy walk to train station) or Smith St & Market St in Wollongong - again close to beaches, harbour & CBD shopping. Look for an apartment that has security provisions if you are concerned - i.e. security cameras, video intercom, resident only access etc.
