Reviews of Woodend, QLD
"Some of the most impressive QLD'rs"
Woodend has to be home to some of the most impressive Queenslanders (homes) that Ipswich has on offer. Whilst other suburbs have similar, I think the range and the quality here is hard to rival!
"Really great suburb"
I moved to Woodend in June 2022. At the beginning I was not sure if this suburb was suitable for me because I am an Asian, but now I can confirm that I made the right decision. My neighbours are super friendly! The streets are quite. The location is close to all amenities. I feel safe to live here for sure!
The only thing that's not so convenient is the choices of restaurants are a bit limited.

"Full of charm and character"
Woodend is a charming little suburb. As a Brisbane resident, Woodend resembles suburbs such as Paddington, Bardon, Red Hill with cute colonial homes. Some of the homes have been renovated and look truly amazing, while others have simply been maintained. Woodend is proximate to the shopping, transport and life of the ever-improving Ipswich CBD. As the council continues to pour money into the city of Ipswich, there is no doubt that this suburb will continue to grow in popularity. Woodend seems to be better value than a number of nearby suburbs, and I would expect an increase in demand to cause an increase in both rental return and capital growth in the medium term. The streets are quiet and leafy.
