Tingal Road, what is the level of train noise? Comfortable or unbearable?

Hi everyone. I'm looking to move to Tingal Road, Wynnum. Unfortunately we have to rent a property site unseen and the property we are looking at (from the map) has a train line running directly behind it. I was wondering what everyone's experience with train noise is like and can you tell me if having the train line close by will be very noisy? It is a brand new townhouse that we are looking at so I am assuming there will be some insulation. I'm not adverse to noise, just trying to understand if t will be comfortable to live in close proximity or not. Opinions please?

Train noise isn't too bad on Tingal Road.
The trains themselves are fine, they're really only noisy when they pull into a station... then that's incredibly noisy... you have to feel sorry for the station/train workers... they must all have workers comp for hearing damage

Hi Kelly welcome to wynnum! I've lived all over brisbane and this is the best! I presume you are talking about the new development on tingal road. It used to be a school, is across from a childcare centre and two mins to bars, restaurants and cafes! Great little shops on glenora just round corner including a drive through corner shop!!! Schools are good. Public wynnum state will
Be your school. Manly state is great as well as guardian Angels and at john vianney. The governor General went to moreton bay college I believe.

Regarding train I think it's quiet as the town houses are elevated well above. Road noise on tingal is minimal as its slow light rraffic😁. Friends further up and closer can't hear anything!!!
