The high school sometimes has nice productions that I have enjoyed quite a bit. They recently did an excellent production of Cabaret. This is probably true of some of the other neighboring school districts also.

Yorktown Stage would be your best bet if you want to stay local. It is located on Commerce Street in Yorktown Heights and is a family friendly theatre venue which shows big Broadway-style musicals like A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Music Man and Seussical. Ticket prices are reasonable, too, at $24.00 for an adult resident and $19.00 for a child resident. Also, they have a 50% off dinner deal with Kirby's Bar and Grill, only two minutes from the theatre!
