Beautiful green & leafy parks and reserves, walking distance to the Maribyrnong river and many walking trails. Cannoli bar is also a must visit.
It has a beautiful neighbourhood feel, everyone is very friendly!

Close to the CBD. Not too far from the airport. Just around the corner from Highpoint Shopping Centre. Walking distance to the Maribyrnong River Trail. Great and safe neighbourhood. I have lived here for more than three years and I am still very happy with my move here.

Avondale Heights is a great suburb for family, leafy streets plenty of parks, friendly neighbours and a great school zone. Only 11km from CBD around the corner from high point shopping centre.

Moving here was the best decision we made. Beautiful Canning Reserve, close to Highpoint, tram line into City just around the corner. Leafy green suburb, full of friendly people minus the pretention that other suburbs of this calibre seem to have!

As Sales Manager at Moonee Valley Real Estate on Military Road, Avondale Heights for the last 10 years, I have grown up in this fantastic area, attended St Martins primary school through to St Bernards College.

Being a proud Avondale Heights resident, I believe that the area is very much underated and has the potential to exercise plenty of growth whilst still being in a central location close to all amenities and not too far from the city.

Occupying the south-western tip of Moonee Valley, Avondale Heights shares many similarities with its northern neighbour – East Keilor. Its diversity of architecture and landscape closely mirrors that of East Keilor with a predominance of 1960s brick-veneer homes on sizeable flat blocks, plus more recently developed pockets such as the popular St Bernards Estate which comprises some of the largest residences in the entire area. Two significant factors make this suburb unique – its proximity to the Maribyrnong River along with some of the best city views in Melbourne, and its closeness to Maribyrnong itself (via Canning Street) including trams and Highpoint Shopping Centre.
