My husband and I are looking to buy here - is it a good area to start a family?
Bairnsdale, VIC 3875 is located within the East Gippsland local government area, part of the East Gippsland Region in Victoria.
I'm from Aus and my husband is from the UK - we want somewhere out of the main city close enough to the snowfields and close enough to the beach.

We moved to the area 4.5 years ago, and wished we had of sooner. We have 3 children and love it. Like you say, close to mountains and close to beach. So much to do if you like being outdoors and in nature.
