I'm looking for schools and a place to stay and Ballarat sounds nice but I'm not so sure yet.
Ballarat North, VIC 3350 is located within the Ballarat local government area, part of the Central Highlands Region in Victoria.
I just want to stay somewhere that's surrounded by cafes, schools and shops so it's easier for me to just walk there. And can someone please tell me about the high schools and their experiences? I'm looking for schools but I just can't seem to pick a good one. I don't want the school to be too strict but I don't want it to be too not strict. Just one where I can relax and feel at ease.

I have heard excellent reports on Ballarat Grammar School. I knew someone that boarded there but you can be a day student.
