Is there anywhere that kids skateboard in Balmain?
Balmain, NSW 2041 is located within the Leichhardt local government area, part of the Sydney (Greater) Region in New South Wales.
I'm considering a move from beloved Maroubra Skate Park area where my 12 year spends most of his free time at the skatepark. Is there any place that kids skate in Balmain? I know there's no skate park to speak of, but maybe the kids have found their own spot that works?

The only 'skate' spot in Balmain is at Elkington Park, Fitzroy Avenue, Balmain, where you'll find a sad, old Quarter Pipe.
If you're looking for places that are not on the road - Ballast Point Park has undergone a refurbishment in that last few years with some new paved pathways. I'd also recommend down by White Bay near the studios (away from Roberts Road), which has some rails and even parts of the Bay Walk.
