"A hidden gem"

I love living in Belmont Street, I bought into the area 12 years ago. The street itself is wide, which is very rare in an inner city suburb, it also features 2 cul de sac's, which give the residents a communal area to congretate and get to know each other. Having the cul de sac's means that the street is also very quiet.

One big bonus living in this area, is that there is minimal aircraft noise, the other big bonus is having Sydney Park just a two minute walk away. Public transport is pretty good with buses going into the city and out to Bondi Junction. There are two train stations within a 10 to 15 minute walk (depending what end of Belmont St you live).

King St Newtown is within walking distance, great for nightlife as there are loads of cafe's and restaurants. Erskineville village is just around the corner with it's cafe's and pubs.

10 minutes to the city by car or train, 15 minutes by car to the beaches ..... all in all Alexandria is very central .... a hidden gem of a place.

"an oasis of calm in a busy area"

More like a village, there are residents from new born to people in their nineties. Lovely wide street full of trees and front gardens, cul-de-sacs keep it beautiful and recently even a cafe with A grade coffee.
