There are a number of parklands, reserves& gardens in Blackburn South. Some are lovely walks, others have playgrounds with swings for children, including:
Eley Park
Wurundjeri Walk & Wurundjeri Wetlands
Faulkner Street Park
Holland Reserve
Edinburgh Patch
Shawlands Avenue Reserve
Orchard Grove Reserve

There is Eley Park on Eley Road (where football oval is), but the biggest park is Orchard Grove Reserve.
There is plenty of smaller parks and walking tracks littered through the streets as well.
