"A small town where everybody knows what everybody else is up to!"
Dean has a soccer oval and hall and is surrounded by potato and lamb farming enterprises. The hall holds many events throughout the year including the annual Big Spud competition.
Dean also has a Young Farmers group that meets once a month.
