Are there midges/ sandflies on Bribie Island

Hi there, we are a family of 4 living in the Redlands (SE Brisbane) and can't really enjoy the outdoors due to the number of biting midges. Are there many sandflies on Bribie island?

Yes. Beware of White Patch area for midges especially.

Mozzies are what youd expect if youre near mangroves and water. It is what it is.
