More intonation on brookfield?

I'm about to build a house in brookfiled the newer side, its abit to late to cancel it as i have already given the building company a lot of money, but my friends all said melton south is the junkie side of melton and brookfield is close to melton south, i also read a women on this talking about her being robbed 5 times in brookfield, but its rated 9.0/10 so can someone please give me some information on this area im planning on getting married and starting a family here... if its not good i might leave it as a investment and rent somewhere else meanwhile.. please give me some information thank you in advance!
