"Burpengary East a Community within a community on the Eastern side..."

Burpengary East has a rich history and was pivotal in the settlement of Burpnegary in the 1800's. These days Burpengary East is a blue chip area full of quality houses and larger semi rural house blocks. Being on the other side of the Bruce Hwy to Burpengary give an exclusive feel to the residents bringing peace, quiet and community spirit. There is a shopping complex "The HUB" which includes Bakery, Fish & Chips, Bottle-o, Butcher, Steak Restaurant, Pizza shop, Childcare Centre, Spice Shop, Hair Dresser, Spar Super Market, Dentist, Accountant and Medical Centre.

Access to the Bruce Hwy is 1-5mins for all residents and access to the Moreton Bay via the Uhlmann Rd Boat Ramp is also only 1-5mins for residents.

Due to the large homsites 2000m2-hundreds of acres (Average 3000-4000m2) the atheistic of the area are retained in a mix of high quality architectural designed homes and rural homesteads, making it the perfect area to raise a family and enjoy the best years of your life.

The area consistently demands the highest housing prices of the area due to the high quality homes and blue chip lifestyle the area offers, with a low turnover of residents testament to the quality of the area and homes where residents have everything they need on their doorstep that can't be found any where else in the region.

"Peaceful are and half way between Brisbane and Sunshine Coast"

I have lived in burpengary for 5 years and love it. Never had any issues with security, neighbours are friendly and blocks are large. The streets are mostly quiet except during peak times where cars are more frequent but never experience traffic. Westfield Northlakes and Costco are just down the road or head into Morayfield which has major retailers. I feel safe walking and jogging around the Streets and there are a good number of bike tracks. The cost of houses and rentals are very reasonable and with a new school going in down the road im sure it will only go up in value.
Pros
  • Peaceful
  • Large blocks
  • Safe
Cons
  • Minimal nice restaurants/bars

"Great country atmosphere!"

Great place to bring up your kids or retire as it's quiet! Crime is very low in this area. Schools are good also as my kids have gone to primary and high schools. Also close to rail and the highway so driving to the city or coasts is very easy.

"Just the right distance between Brissy and the Sunshine Coast"

I have lived here 20 years, Fantastic place to bring up kids as well as still being able to hop on train and head into city for a night out or 1/2 hour up to Caloundra for a day at the beach with a picnic, Burpengary doesnt have a name for itself like Caboolture or Morayfield,Not as many rental properties compared to other towns near buy. Great place to buy and make some money in the near future. Country feel to it heaps of acerage properties spread through out Burpengary, just wonderfull

"Affordable, but no frills"

House and rent prices are affordable however Burpengary is quite far away from the Brisbane CBD. Lots of parks, schools and childcare facilities. Good choice for families. Very little of interest for a single.
