"The large block side of Burpengary is a hidden gem"

One of the last places you can buy massive blocks and still have all the conveniences the neighbouring median density suburbs bring. Facer rd is great

"Great Suburb, peaceful with all facilities around"

Been to many places and this is the place that I chose to live . Not sure about previous comment as old houses. There are lot of new and beautiful estates in Burpengary. New estate such as Bestow estate is really great as it is very close to all Supermarkets, Shops, Pharmacy, schools, Burpengary Aquatic center ,the Moreton Bay sports complex, Bruce Highway and the new North Harbour precinct . A perfect and an ideal place to grow family centered around all facilities .

"Great place to film 1980’s films as it’s all old houses"

People don’t seem to care about houses around here, run down old and nearly 100% lacking in exterior landscaping or house facade changing. If you have ever seen anything of the world then this is where number 2’s come from.
But it’s cheap!!!!

"Fantastic place to live"

Have moved here just a week ago. I previously lived in a suburb 10 min away and come to Burpengary to do my shopping and banking and the handy Kmart.
Everything here is so accessible and everything you need so close by. The place has a good vibe and you don’t see all the drop kicks around like at D Bay shopping centre. I highly recommend Burpengary for all ages!

"Get in quick before it is discovered!"

I have lived in Burpengary for 6 years and my husband has lived here for over 20 years and we love it. I call it 'Tradeyville' because heaps of tradesmen live here - you can tell by all of the backyard sheds and Hilux SUV's around. Mostly big blocks which are great for families and nice parks. Great access to Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast (another reason to own a Hilux). Most people are house-proud and look after their properties which is nice. The shops are growing so we have excellent access to any store you could imagine. I would recommend families and young couples move here because it's a great community. I lived in Brisbane all my life until I moved here and now, I wouldn't live anywhere else.

"Burpengary East a Community within a community on the Eastern side..."

Burpengary East has a rich history and was pivotal in the settlement of Burpnegary in the 1800's. These days Burpengary East is a blue chip area full of quality houses and larger semi rural house blocks. Being on the other side of the Bruce Hwy to Burpengary give an exclusive feel to the residents bringing peace, quiet and community spirit. There is a shopping complex "The HUB" which includes Bakery, Fish & Chips, Bottle-o, Butcher, Steak Restaurant, Pizza shop, Childcare Centre, Spice Shop, Hair Dresser, Spar Super Market, Dentist, Accountant and Medical Centre.

Access to the Bruce Hwy is 1-5mins for all residents and access to the Moreton Bay via the Uhlmann Rd Boat Ramp is also only 1-5mins for residents.

Due to the large homsites 2000m2-hundreds of acres (Average 3000-4000m2) the atheistic of the area are retained in a mix of high quality architectural designed homes and rural homesteads, making it the perfect area to raise a family and enjoy the best years of your life.

The area consistently demands the highest housing prices of the area due to the high quality homes and blue chip lifestyle the area offers, with a low turnover of residents testament to the quality of the area and homes where residents have everything they need on their doorstep that can't be found any where else in the region.

Great for

  • Large blocks
  • Peaceful
  • Safe

"Peaceful are and half way between Brisbane and Sunshine Coast"

I have lived in burpengary for 5 years and love it. Never had any issues with security, neighbours are friendly and blocks are large. The streets are mostly quiet except during peak times where cars are more frequent but never experience traffic. Westfield Northlakes and Costco are just down the road or head into Morayfield which has major retailers. I feel safe walking and jogging around the Streets and there are a good number of bike tracks. The cost of houses and rentals are very reasonable and with a new school going in down the road im sure it will only go up in value.

Great for

  • Peaceful
  • Large blocks
  • Safe

Not great for

  • Minimal nice restaurants/bars
