A small addendum to the earlier answer from TracyD. The monastery sells lunch only on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 1:00pm. At other times, it is best to bring your own vegetarian meal and to use one of the many picnic benches near the dining hall. Also, no alcohol is allowed on the premises and it is best to keep this in mind when planning a picnic at CYM.

You're only allowed to bring vegetarian products onto the grounds. They sell a vegetarian meal for $6, $5 if your bring your own plate.
