As Morton Ave is just a step away from the train station it does get most of the noise from the trains. Depending on whether you face the station or away from it, there will be a difference in the noise level. Most building now days have double glazing which do reduce the noise but then again what happens when the window is opened?? If you have lived in a quite street and moving to Morton Ave you will definitely need sometime before you get use to the noise.

hope that helps
