Try the little 9 hole Golf Course at Oakleigh on Park road, it runs along Scotchmans creek. Easy to get to and easy going environment. Or Brighton public located on Dendy street or Sandringham on Cheltenham rd would be my favourite local public track! Hope this helps out.
