Is Carrum a nice place to live? Im moving here with my wife and 15 yr old daughter.

Just moved to Aus from the UK and staying with friends in Patterson Lakes. Looking at a 2 bed place in/around Carrum. Security and senior school options are a priority as my work takes me out of the state a lot.
