Somerly is the new part of Clarkson and is a very nice place. Lots of properties that would be suitable for investment/renting out. Close to everything, like shops, schools, transport and the beach.
New development is Catalina, south of Somerly. There will plenty of investment opportunities there in the near future.
I don't have any experience of old Clarkson so can't rely comment.
