Reviews of Clifton Street, Richmond
"Fabulous Richmond Hill!"
My husband and I rented two houses in Clifton Street and we really loved it - particularly when we lived at the top of the street, right on Richmond Hill, where the street is wide and tree-lined. It was convenient to walk to the city, or bike or catch the tram. We also loved going to the little cafe on Rowena Parade and being so close to the London Tavern that we could easily stumble home after a night out with friends. We would have loved to buy a place in that coveted Richmond Hill area but instead settled on a place in Clifton Hill - which, I have to say, we love even more that Richmond.

"Close to bars, pubs, public transport."
Just off Swan St in Richmond, there are some rather large old style homes here. It's one of the more attractive streets in this area of Richmond, with some large trees lining the pavement. Overall the location is fantastic being so close to Chapel St and Bridge Road...you can't go wrong!

Yes, the London Tavern is great - they do an excelletn steak sandwich! I can understand the appeal of Clifton Hill though - it is a lovely suburb.
