How would Cooktown suit a young family with 3 toddlers?

Cooktown (in my opinion) is a great place to raise a family...it has such a great laid back, small sea side town feel to it and it is such a beautiful place....the fishing and camping is great too ;)
Cooktown is not something I would suggest for someone that was young, single and enjoys going out clubbing etc because it just does not have it....there are local pubs that offer live bands and entertainment every month but they all close by midnight or earlier....
There are now 2 schools to choose from (State School and a Christian School) and the great new event centre offers a gym and PCYC host activities there on a regular basis.... All in all, I think it's a great town :)
