Take the train from Claremont to Cottesloe station (3 stops)

Walk all the way up forest street and you're there

Easy and about 15 minutes

Take the 102 bus from outside the Claremont Quarter shopping centre on Gugeri Street - this is opposite the Claremont railway station. Do not take the 107, 24, 28, etc as these all travel elsewhere. Ask the driver of the 102 to drop you at the Marine Parade stop near the Indiana tea house - this is where the main beach starts. Don't worry, the bus does deviate away from Marine Parade and back again before getting to the bit you want.

The best place would be along Stirling Hwy - just make sure you check it doesn't keep going towards Fremantle without heading down Eric St to the beach first!
