Hi, does anyone live on phillip island and travel to Melbourne CBD for work?

My husband and I are thinking of relocating our family from the outer east suburbs of Melbourne and by husband wants to continue working in the city. Just wondering if anyone has done this commute and what's the realistic travel time with traffic etc. We're thinking a drive from cowes to pakenham station, then train from there. Thanks

Absolutely!! I did it for years before starting in Real Estate. My Director does it regularly. It is actually a more relaxed commute, because you don't have to fight traffic all the time. There is time to relax on the drive and make those calls via Bluetooth too. Coming home to the Island is always a breath of fresh air.
