"Rural haven within a short commute to Hobart"
Crabtree Road is the main artery that services the Crabtree Valley. The streetscape is rural residential (houses dotted every 200 metres or so, on average). Most properties have small acreages, and are mostly for hobby use, although there are one or two going concerns. The housing styles are traditional Tasmanian rural, although of late there has been some increase in upscale housing, as Hobart commuters buy into the area for its picturesque valley views.
All in all, a friendly, relaxed rural area within a short commute to Hobart.
