Is Dandenong a safe area to work in?
Dandenong, VIC 3175 is located within the Greater Dandenong local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.
I'm interested in a job that is located in Dandenong but i'm concerned about safety. It's a day job and i would be driving to/from work daily. Any advice would be great! Thanks!

Daytime it's ok, Night-time no.
Lots of theft and assault. Been a victim to death threats and an armed robbery.

I've work and lived in Dandenong for almost 5 years, I've never had any encounters or issues. I work around the city and often find myself working to and from work. nothing to worry about, and if anything was to go wrong the streets around Dandenong city are always lively, so people will definately come to your aid.
