Hippy haven in the Hinterland?
Diddillibah, QLD 4559 is located within the Maroochy local government area, part of the Sunshine Coast Region in Queensland.
I'm Looking to relocate to South east Queensland (sheep-like, I know), and would love advice as to which suburb will suit best. I'm hoping to find a community with a good library, walking/cycling tracks, and farmers markets or a shop nearby which is pro-vegetarian. I am a Buddhist yoga-loving meditator so a place with likeminded residents would be nice...or at least a quiet, tiny town. I'm not after clubs or pubs...rainforests and mountain views float my boat :) my work is likely to be in Caboolture or Maroochydore and I'm happy to commute 30-40kms as lifestyle is worth a bit of effort. So far Montville, Maleny, Doonan, Eumundi, Castaways and the area around Kiels Mountain are on my research list...help me choose, please!

You would definitely love Maleny and Eumundi, but maybe also have a look at Palmwoods, very cute little town.
