Diggers Rest, VIC 3427 is located within the Melton local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.
i.e. not in the estate region. Is it a nice and safe place for young families?

I have never heard of a negative review for Diggers Rest. It's a lovely little pocket in the North. Original post office with a convenient store and cafe. Small population and a train station including the V-Line. Nice country feel. Worth considering.
